Dear UNITARians,

UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 2020 SEMESTER ARRANGEMENT

As communicated in our email dated 4th of August 2020, the September 2020 semester is scheduled to commence on 7th September 2020. The university management has made detailed and careful deliberation and decided that the teaching & learning activities will be conducted via blended mode for all conventional students effective September 2020 semester onward.

Lectures will continue to be held online through virtual platforms, and only tutorial & selected practical classes will be held physically on campus, whilst ensuring the campus is operating significantly below the current allowed capacity. Through this arrangement, it will minimise the travelling needs as well as ensuring the overall welfare & safety of our students are safeguarded.

You will be able to view updated timetable reflecting the above arrangements before the September 2020 semester commences. This arrangement will last until December 2020 unless there are other updated directives provided by the authorities.

To students from Sabah & Sarawak who are required to return to Peninsular Malaysia, you are strongly encouraged to sign up for Malaysia Airline’s MHExplorer programme to enjoy 20% discount on your flight tickets. For more information, visit the MHExplorer link. Sign up is free.

Attention:

Borneo based (Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan) students who are unable to return to Klang Valley, students who are currently in Enhanced Movement Control (EMCO) area & International Students who are currently back in their home country will be supported fully via online classes. Kindly provide your details in this link for record and further arrangement purpose. You are required to do so latest by 19th August 2020 (Wednesday).

To International Students who are currently back in their home country and intending to return to Malaysia, you will receive a separate announcement soon.
